Complex United Nations Bushmaster Vehicle Shipment Successfully Executed
In January 2026, Cargomaster successfully completed a highly complex and strategically sensitive logistics project for the United Nations, involving the international transport and inland handling of seven Bushmaster armored vehicles from Fiji to Beirut, with final onward movement to operational zones in the region.
This operation required far more than standard freight forwarding. It involved detailed planning, precise coordination with multiple stakeholders, strict compliance procedures, and flawless execution across sea, port, and inland transport. The project highlighted both the technical complexity of the cargo and the level of trust placed in Cargomaster by a globally recognized institution.
A Multi-Stage, High-Precision Operation
The Bushmaster vehicles were shipped from Fiji on specialized flat-rack containers due to their weight, dimensions, and operational nature. Upon arrival at the Port of Beirut, Cargomaster managed all customs formalities in close coordination with the relevant authorities, ensuring full compliance while maintaining efficiency and transparency throughout the clearance process.
Once released, the flat racks were transported by road to our secured yard near Beirut Port. There, our experienced operations team carefully offloaded each vehicle using appropriate heavy-lift equipment and handling methods designed specifically for high-value, mission-critical assets.
The vehicles were then reloaded onto specialized flatbed trailers to prepare them for their final inland transport to designated operational areas within the region, commonly referred to as “war zones.” This final leg required careful route planning, strict safety protocols, and close operational oversight.
Delivered on Time and in Excellent Condition
Despite the complexity of the operation, all seven Bushmaster vehicles were delivered within the timeframe required by the United Nations and in excellent condition.
